Utah Had by Dems

Putative red state Utah's new electoral redistricting map (above) is a more nearly accurate representation of Utah party voting preferences than the former hyper-gerrymandered version.

The new map will result in one of Utah's four red congressional districts most assuredly turning blue. Seems fair, right?

However, all blue states are gerrymandered up the ying yang so as to leverage the Democrat
party's influence in Congress. For example, Republicans represent 40% of Massachusetts voters, yet Massachusetts Republicans have no congressional representation at all.

Viewed from this nationally focused perspective, Utah's new un-gerrymandered electoral redistricting map represents a national win by the very adept Utah Democrats over the head-in-sand Utah Republicans.

Utah continues its blue morph.
