Utah Blue Trending
I see Utah appeared (again!) as number one on a ranking of the fifty US states (see below image).
Admittedly, life is good in Utah if you can afford it. Conservatives beware, however. Utah's putative conservative political landscape is shifting left frog-in-the-pot style.
RINOs (including closeted Dems), via lateral arabesque legislative maneuver designed to marginalize grass roots MAGA types (Look up SB 54), dominate state-wide and congressional electoral seats.
To be sure, Utah MAGA grass roots are passionate, like their counterparts around the country. But vocal Utah MAGAs are disproportionately small in number. In Utah Republican Party politics, MAGAs are treated as outliers by the insider RINOs.
LDS Utahns are responsive to "be nice" programming from their ecclesiastical leaders and find little reason to be aggressive in support for polarizing national themes that energize MAGAs elsewhere. It is good to adopt Christian principles as a template to relate to your fellow man. But your strengths can also be your weaknesses. Being overly kind and tactful can also hinder progress, a sentiment often expressed by the likes of Jensen Huang and Elon Musk. A colorable argument can be made that otherwise conservative Utahns, opting for a "turn the other cheek" response in lieu of confrontation, unwittingly, are being herded leftward by scheming pols.
Utah is the most "sanctuary" of all the red states. You're an illegal alien needing a driver's permit? Get one in Utah!
Woke ideas have seeped into Utah public schools. Tyler Robinson and Lance Twiggs didn't grow up in a vacuum!
When you have a recently retired Utah US Senator march masked in a BLM demonstration; a sitting Utah US Senator who equivocates on boys playing girls' sports; a Utah governor prone to using pronouns in public speeches; a Utah congressman who was an active fundraiser for Liz Cheney; and a recently successful Utah redistricting effort that favors Democrats; you'll realize that Utah is a blue trending RINO state, not a MAGA state.
