Solving DJT's Illegal Immigrant Dilemma

Finally. I've been waiting for this to happen.

DJT finally acknowledged yesterday that it was going to be impossible to deport upwards of ten million illegal aliens. Trump: "What about those poor farm workers who have no documentation but have been employed by farmers for the last twenty years? They're working hard, and other than being undocumented, they aren't committing any crimes. And the same for hotel workers. We've got to do something to fix this." (DJT quote paraphrased by Mwah [sic]).

Oh wait! DJT just retweeted that we still want to deport all of the illegals! DJT's simultaneous ambivalence is causing my head to spin! Kabuki? Four-way chess?

This is not a good look for Trump, backing off a hard and fast campaign promise to deport all of the illegal aliens entering the US during the Autopen administration and then reinstating his promise to support deportation for all illegals.

There is a way out of the room, however, for Trump. The practicalities of repatriating upwards of ten million (not including the bad actors, who should, of course, be force repatriated) people are daunting. But then, how can we keep them here without rewarding law breaking and exposing the president as a campaign promise violator?

I have been offering a solution to this dilemma for some time, and put forward my solution once again in the following note to DJT:

Dear President Trump,
Here's solution to US immigration woes. I am available for consultation through 20 June after which I'll be in a cruise, returning 04 July.

Illegals in US:
Other than bad actors, don't deport illegals. Rather, establish a guest worker program a la Emirates. Employer activated; three-year renewable; biometrically tracked; no path to citizenship; no non-work permitted family member US residency; no tax on foreign remittances. Tough penalties on employers who abuse. No government benefits, direct or indirect, for any non-citizen not enrolled in guest worker program.

Other immigration solutions not necessarily related to presence of Autopen illegals:

Close down anchor baby citizenship.
Stop immigration lottery.
Tighten up and speed up asylum guidelines and process.
Tighten up (further) US border control. Wall and technology. Northern and Southern border.
Double US legal immigration quota from 1MM to 2MM. Target for immigration skilled workers by merit and by probability of successful assimilation.
Green card attached to any tech PhD diploma of foreign student.
