Four years ago, I predicted that Russia, whose cultural depth and capacity to endure suffering, would prevail in this war.

One of my specific forecasts was that, through the brutal school of combat experience on the ground, the Russians would emerge unmatched in operational skill, weaponry, and battlefield tactics. And so, we now see a high-ranking Ukrainian official attesting to overwhelming, transforming Russian superiority in weaponry.

There are factors other than being at the leading edge of weaponry that factor into who will win the western proxy war against Russia. But Russian accomplishments in weaponry should not be a surprise.

Anyone who understands Russia's technological development history (Russians were the first to put a man in space), the durability of Russian culture and the intrinsic, unyielding, deep-seated devotion of Russia’s people to the Motherland, would have reached the same conclusion about weapons as I did four years ago.

Here in the US too many confuse the old, culturally destructive, oppressive Bolshevik/communist Soviet enemy with today’s oligarchic capitalist, but culturally affirmative Russia.
