Snowing in Park City (after a fashion).
Park City Mountain opening day now rescheduled for 05 December 2025. Then, the famous "white ribbon of death" will be there for all to ski!

I go here to breakfast for the excellent corn beef hash a couple of times a month.
Eating Establishment is not quite a "go to" breakfast place. Parking is sometimes dicey; they don't open until 8:00 AM; only one choice of bread for toast; Toast not pre buttered; and jam not served in sealed bottle. Still, the corn beef hash is worth the trip.
I've also been going around twice a month to 5 Seeds. Steel cut oatmeal there is ten of ten... perhaps even better than Maple Counter, in Walla Walla, WA. Sadly, 5 Seeds is also not a "go to" breakfast place. A "go to" breakfast place must open at 7:00 AM or before. 5 Seeds opens at 7:30 AM. 5 seeds also falls short by only serving regular water, no ice water. Also, while there are some good items on the menu... it's an avocado toast type of place... 5 Seeds does not have a basic bacon, eggs, and potatoes dish and therefore is disqualified from being a "go to" breakfast place. Sadly, at least by my definition, Park City has no "go to" breakfast place.
"Go to" breakfast places elsewhere?

*** Gayle, Carol, Betty, and Joyce DeWitt, daughters of Kenneth and Elizabeth DeWitt, my maternal grandparents.
We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2025, at the age of 80, Lynn Vance (Provo, Utah), born in Northfield, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Lynn may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

Dick. Eatin' good in the 'hood, as he is married to Mariko, the functional equivalent of a cordon bleu Japanese chef.
Grand daughters are competitive swimmers and their dad is (I think) an LA County Deputy Sheriff.
Love the story of this family. Son of Episcopal prelate who made his way from Cuba to Panama. Educated at Trinity. Classmate of Park Avenue (Jim Tozer). Found a wife (squared) working at Citi Japan.

What a family! Mano is a naturalized US citizen from Sri Lanka.
Now thas' what I call assimilation!
