Picto Diary - 27, 28, 29 October 2015 - Mercury

PM walk after lunch with TIMDT at the Waldorf. TIMDT intended to walk but cold, plus wind chill caused her to change her mind. I needed the exercise, so I went exploring.

I went to the highest point of the Canyon's golf course... about 400 vertical feet higher than the Waldorf. I was surprised to see how far up the mountain parts of the golf course were.

Ski one season... golf the other. What's not to like?

Wow. You have to hit the ball onto this thin fairway.

In the distance, at the base of the canyon, unseen in the image, is the base of the Super Condor lift. In the upper canyon is the Echo ski run... a long blue.

Lift is the Orange Bubble. See the Techno L-Pin snow blower. 'Neath the snow blower, behind, is the Canyons Grand Summit Hotel. The "mound" looking mountain beyond, is Quarry Mountain. I get my broadband signal from a wireless transmission sent from the top of this mountain.

Crazy 'bout a Mercury..... Gonna buy me a Mercury and cruise it up and down the road....
