I petitioned TIMDT to allow me to do a similar lift to the F350... add winch apparatus/bumper similar to the one seen here, and a serious roof LED lighting array, as seen in first image. She refused, saying, "its either me or the truck." I fretted about it for some time... and then, backed down.

Today, July 11 we crossed over the highest motorable pass in world. Landslides being opened by bulldozers as we passed through, water crossings, snow, Tata trucks, gravel, mud, and hairpin turns made it grueling yet exciting day. Awesome views of the Himalayas! Much needed rest day in any da Valley near Pakistan border tomorrow then return over the pass the next day.

Beat up and sore but all is well!

Nancy and I constantly reflect on that day we were there and the entire Himalaya experience. Very special for a number of reasons.
