Newsom Rocks! - 29 December 2025

I am tired of all the flip comments being made about Gavin Newsom on social media. I realize that California has a huge budget deficit, and that the state is losing a hefty sized population of its workers due to its high tax rates. It is true that Gavin Newsom dined at The French Laundry while advising Californians to stay home during Covid. But Newsom critics miss the real story.

Gavin Newsom has done more to protect the earth than any pol in living history. Californians live within "inches" of water or power rationing at any given time. Newsom has steadfastly stood in the way of increasing California water reservoir capacity and has heroically curtailed the use of fossil fuels substituting in lieu, virtuous green energy. True, because of Newsom's heroic acts Californians must limit their showers and endure load shedding power outages. But they know they have a higher calling to save the earth from burning to a cinder. Californians are wont to make this trade off. That's why they reelect Newsom time after time.

Electing Newsom as president to extend California's energy and water policies across the nation will require that all Americans, not just Californians, will be deprived of water and power. But there are more important things... like saving mother earth. History will mark how the sacrifices of Americans initiated by President Newsom will be seen as a small price to pay to secure the future of human consciousness.

I urge Americans to get behind a Newsom candidacy for president. I urge Americans to vote for what is really important and not self-serving excesses like abundant water and power.

I am sick of the flip criticisms of a great man who has given his all to save humanity.
