Mormon/TJ Bible Bashing in Paris

Though intended as humor, the above meme from the Babylon Bee is not a joke!

As Mormon missionaries in Paris, France, 1965 to 1868, my missionary companion and I would frequently encounter representatives of Les Temoins Jehovah. Occasionally, we would schedule "Bible Bashes" with "the TJ's" at mutually convenient outdoor cafe locations. The hours we spent hurling scripture verses back and forth to validate our respective doctrines sharpened our scriptural knowledge, enabled improvements in our French proficiency, and boosted our debating skills. Though our sessions never resulted in any participant's mind being changed, I remember these sessions as being a lot of fun!
